How to Use Google Earth

Searching Locations-

• Type in location (place you are looking for) in the top left box and press the magnifying glass button.

Zooming in and Out of Globe-

• Activate applications on the right edge of screen by putting curser over them. Press the minus (-) button on the scale on the right edge of screen.

Making a Place Mark (looks like a yellow thumb tack)-

• Press button with yellow thimb tack picture on it at top of screen.
• Insert a name for your place mark by typing in the name box.
  
• Type a description of place mark (e.g. this is where the chinese ship crashed in The Great Barrier Reef).
  
• Move the yellow thumb tack on globe to correct position and click ‘ok’.

Making a Screen Grab

1. Press ‘PRTSC’ button on key board (usually top row to the right).
2. Open up computer editing software
3. Right click- copy
4. Go to PowerPoint and right click- paste.
